Report from University
Hospital - The
upcoming Aiken Ladies Invitational tournament has served as a
fundraiser for the Breast Care Center at University Hospital in
Augusta serving the CSRA. The monies donated from the charity
event hosted by 302 Polo have contributed to some 1,200 free
mammogram tests and helped 100 women enter treatment for breast
cancer... hopefully that translates into 100 saved lives.
Goose Creek returns to defend
title - After winning
in 2007 and 2008, Maureen Brennan is returning again with her Goose
Creek team for a potential "3-peat." Adam Snow returns to
captain the team once again.
Toasty! - This is the 4th year of
organized polo in Aiken. Polo is played 3 times per week until
August 2nd... when it does get warm around here! Anyone
interested can participate... to learn more or sign up call our

Hitchcock Woods report
- this past spring
season, 302 hosted the Aiken Charity Polo Match, which for the last
two years has benefited the Hitchcock Woods Foundation. Doug
Rabold, HWF Executive Director, confirms that HWF has successfully
used the monies in support of daily operations and maintenance of
the facilities.

Practice Cooperative
- Practices are on Tues, Thurs, & Saturdays. Team practices can be
arranged any day. Rebecca Gutierrez is the practice manager
and we will start practices on April 14th - call (803) 642-8787.
Change Your USPA Club
Affiliation - if you
are playing in 302 tournaments... consider changing your primary
club affiliation to 302 Polo this upcoming year for 2008.
Every year when you renew your USPA membership you have an
opportunity to update your information. Our goal is to
consolidate our players "under one roof..." in order to have a
better "collective 302 voice" with the USPA in the future.
